HI! I’m Peggy Douglass, the owner of A Lovely Mindset.

Meditation has been a part of my life for the last 16 years. I discovered meditation after being diagnosed with anxiety and depression while going through infertility treatments and suffering the loss of our twins. At first I used meditation at night to help me sleep since it’s known for relaxing your body and reducing insomnia.
It wasn’t long after starting my practice that I realized that I needed to make this a non-negotiable thing that I did every day. Meditation was really helping me to stay calm, not only during the practice but also throughout my day.
By simply becoming aware that we are stressed or over whelmed and really acknowledge that, we open ourselves up and choose self care.

It was during my meditation that I realized it was my purpose to help spread the word and show it’s benefits to others. Having tools to use at any time, anywhere, teaching that bringing awareness to the breath will help the quality of your life.
